Robin Koch has provided Leeds United fans with a glimmer of hope as he posted a video of him working on an exercise bike while captioning the video “Comeback sessions”.
The Leeds Defender is out due to a knee injury which was expected to keep him out until March. He limped off in the 6th minute against Chelsea in December. Robin Koch who signed for Leeds United in the summer from Freiburg had been playing impressively well alongside Liam Cooper and Luke Ayling for a couple of matches while also started all of the matches for Leeds until he got injured.
On Robin Koch’s Instagram account, he posted a short video of him working on an Exercise bike wearing the LA Lakers jersey of late. The caption read as “Comeback Sessions”.

This post has got many Leeds supporters excited as they have been dodging defensive injuries with Diego Llorente unfit and Liam Cooper who was also out for a couple of matches. But with Luke Ayling covering up for the injuries at centre-back, he and Liam Cooper managed to get some huge wins during Koch’s time off.
Currently, Leeds has been provided with a 10-day break after their fixture postponement against Southampton as Bielsa & Co. will be counting days to get on that pitch again and get to winning ways.
Robin Koch was expected to return in mid-March following successful knee surgery but could return to action earlier which will boost the Leeds defence by large.
With Diego Llorente back in training, Marcelo Bielsa will look to build on his defence and with the return of Robin Koch in the coming months Leeds United will look to strengthen their side with better performances in the second half of the season.
