Leeds United have just completed their sixth signing of the summer in the form of goalkeeper Kristoffer Klaesson and they are still looking for attackers to start with in the next season. According to the reports from The Sun, Leeds United are interested in signing Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore. Wolves are willing to sell him but only for the right price. They are asking around £30 million for the winger.
Adama Traore is a highly rated winger at Wolves who has been doing well for the club. He has produced some lightning performances for the club in the past. But he was largely out of form in the last season.
In the 37 matches, he managed to score only 5 goals last season. Though Wolves are keen to tie him up under a new contract, the Spaniard has stalled the talks in what looks like his tactic to exit Molineux. Wolves have brought in Trianco from Barcelona this summer as a possible replacement for him.
Many other clubs are looking at the situation and they are interested in the winger. Barcelona and Liverpool are among the two names floating on the market for the signature of Adama Traore. Both the clubs are keen on him but it is not sure if he would get the game time at those clubs. His priority is getting regular game time.
He would definitely get that at Elland Road. Adama Traore is reportedly waiting on a top club but since those clubs have other priorities to fill in right now especially Barcelona, it is not quite sure if those clubs will come knocking for him despite their interest.
This leaves Traore with the option of Leeds United. The Whites are certainly keen on him and they would make a move for him in the coming days. But the Whites would have to cough up a massive £30 million to secure the signature of their target. If Adama Traore joins the Whites he would electrify the games with his pace and aggression. Leeds United would certainly want that to happen in their gameplay.
