Leeds United can make transfer move on deadline day

0

Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United have made last day transfer proposal to sign AS Roma playmaker Nicolo Zaniolo.

The Italian star is frustrated with his current club and reached his breaking point to leave the team. Zaniolo have decided that he will no longer represent AS Roma even if he has to warm the benches till the end of the season.

Nicolo has scored just once in 13 Serie A games and seemingly needs a fresh start away from Rome.

Leeds have already secured the signing of Serie A midfielder Weston McKennie in this year’s winter transfer window and now they are back in Italy to sign 23-year-old attacking midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo on loan.

Roma had rejected Leeds United’s loan bid as they don’t want that kind of deal and are only willing to sell him with immediate effect.

With Jack Harrison linked with other Premier League clubs, Zaniolo’s deal feels more likely to happen before the deadline.

The Italy international has been linked with few clubs lately i.e Bournemouth, Lyon, Tottenham Hotspur and AC Milan. He is still waiting for Milan to offer him a permanent deal.
